ROAD TO UN / MENUJU PBB
From historical evidence to a voice on the international stage.
SSKM AUSTRALIA
Our aim is to bring the self-determination concerns of Sabah and Sarawak to international attention through peaceful, evidence-based advocacy. This proposed roadmap connects our historical research, public education and preparation for appropriate United Nations channels.
The stages below describe our intended approach. They are not a record of completed submissions, UN acceptance or UN endorsement. Confirmed developments will need dated supporting documents.
Research. Review. Community. Advocacy. Accountability.
Build a traceable record of MA63, signatory authority, constitutional arrangements and the 1963 ascertainment process. Record what each source establishes and what remains unresolved.
Seek independent legal review of the evidence, the applicable law at the relevant time and the arguments about self-determination. Distinguish documented facts, legal arguments and political aspirations.
Use public education and respectful dialogue to hear the perspectives of Sabahans and Sarawakians. Describe participation honestly and protect contributors’ consent and privacy.
Identify relevant UN mechanisms and check their current mandates, eligibility and submission requirements before preparing any communication. Set out the evidence, the questions and the action being requested clearly.
Publish dated updates with supporting records when available. Clearly distinguish a submission sent, an acknowledgement received and any substantive response or decision.
